PGM FLAGS IT UP!

Following a busy family Christmas and New Year the PGM was ready for time out, and he was delighted when his wife Lynne said she would arrange a break over 3 days. He should have known Brown Owl was going to need him at Shirdley Hill on the Brownie Pack Holiday last weekend!

Together with 18 brownies he took part in their themed activities - centred on 'Peter Pan'.
As you can see he was welcomed into the 'pirates, group ..... but not the, mermaids, (wrong gender) or the 'lost boys' (too old). Never-the-less he was warmly welcomed when he pushed them all - 4 at a time - on the saucer swing.  Lucky he has been training at the gym!  Whilst the brownies do their own washing up at mealtimes, the PGM reckons he washed and dried 18 mugs five times for breaks etc!  All that and a daily round trip of 26 miles. Brethren will be pleased to know that Tinkerbell and I survived - thanks to a rousing chorus of "we believe in fairies" which he led.

The PGM looks forward to sprinkling his newly acquired Fairy Dust at Provincial Grand Lodge (at the Floral Hall, Southport on Wednesday, 7th May) where he hopes to see you all, if not before.
